Waiting areas - There are designated waiting areas on floor. Family and friends may wait for surgical patients in the surgical waiting area located on the first floor directly off the front lobby.
Parking - Valet parking service is available in front of the main medical center entrance for outpatients and inpatients on the day of admission. There is no charge to the patient for this service. Visitor parking is available in the visitor parking lot located in front of the medical center. As a convenience to our patients and visitors, volunteers assist with transporting to and from your car. Please look for the Thomasville Medical Center golf cart circling the front parking lot.
Security Escort - A security escort is available 24 hours a day to accompany visitors to their vehicles within the visitor's parking lot of the medical center. Please dial the hospital operator (0) to request this service or contact your patient's nurse for further assistance.
Banking - A automated teller machine (ATM) is located in the main lobby on the first floor.
Florist - Flowers are delivered by the florists right to the patients room. Floral arrangements also are sold in the Hospitality Shop located off the main lobby on the first floor. The Shop is open daily. Some patients conditions may prevent them from having live plants. Check with the patients nurse.
Hospitality/Gift Shop - The Hospitality Shop is located on the first floor near the main lobby. The shop offers world famous milkshakes, specialty sandwiches, coffee, and more. There are also a variety of items available, such as greeting cards, fresh plants, assortment of gifts for all ages, toiletries and holiday merchandise. The shop will accept and deliver orders to patients received by telephone at 336-476-2406. The shop hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday 12 to 5 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. For your convenience, MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
Guest Meal Trays - Occasionally, family and friends choose to arrange for guest meal trays. There is a charge for this service and you can pay, in advance, at the cashiers office on the first floor of the medical center. The cashier will notify Food and Nutrition Services, and your tray will be delivered along with the patients tray.
