Volunteen/Junior Volunteers

For teens ages 13-18, our Volunteen program offers an opportunity to serve during the summer. Teens are trained and supervised by the community relations manager. We are looking for students who can make a dependable commitment of one shift per week, three or four hours long, for the entire program. There are no evening or weekend shifts available. Students who are interested in serving in a healthcare setting and who feel they can meet our expectations are invited to apply.

College students also donate their time during the school year and summer by serving in a variety of departments where they can observe the delivery of healthcare services to patients and families.

Applying

Each volunteer completes an application, orientation, health screening and receives training in the designated area before he or she begins to volunteer.
