Although visits from family and friends are an important part of your recovery,
adequate rest is also necessary. Patients' health is our primary concern. To ensure that patients are able to get the rest they need, the following visiting hours have
been established for Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center.
General Visiting
Hours: Open
Behavioral Health (You Must Have Patient's Code)
Hours: Monday – Friday, Noon – 1:30pm and 6:00pm – 8:00pm; Saturday and Sunday, 3:00pm – 6:30pm
The main hospital doors are open from 6:00am to 9:00pm daily. Should you need to
visit a patient after 9:00pm, you will be required to check in with the staff stationed at our Emergency Department lobby entrance. They will ask you to provide the name of the patient you want to visit and will call to the nursing unit and speak to the patient's nurse. The patient's nurse will check with the patient and get approval for your visitation. Once your visit is approved, you may then proceed to the patient's room.
