What is pre-registration?
Pre-registration is the process of providing your demographic and insurance information ahead of time so that your paperwork can be started in advance of your scheduled visit. When you arrive for your appointment, the pre-registration associate will review the information that you have provided to ensure accuracy and provide you with any additional information necessary for your visit.
When should I pre-register?
A patient can pre-register as soon as they have been scheduled for a surgery, radiology or other procedure. Online pre-registration can be completed up to 24 hours prior to a scheduled appointment. For any procedures scheduled less than 24 hours, pre-registration should be completed by telephone with one of our pre-registration associates at 1-888-844-0080, option 3. Our pre-registration department is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
How will I know the hospital received my online pre-registration form?
Once you’ve submitted your form online, you will receive an immediate confirmation that indicates your form was received. All pre-registrations are completed according to the date of service; if you have not received your email confirmation by a week prior to your appointment, contact our pre-registration team at 1-888-844-0800, option 3.
How will I know the hospital has completed my pre-registration?
You will receive an email confirming completion of your pre-registration. All pre-registrations are completed according to the date of service; if you have not received your email confirmation by 24 hours prior to your appointment, contact our pre-registration team at 888-844-0800, option 3.
Should I bring my insurance card with me to my appointment?
Yes—always bring your insurance card and an official photo ID such as a driver’s license.
Do I need to be prepared to make a payment at my appointment?
Our pre-registration team will review your insurance information and if you have a copay or deductible that will be due you may be contacted by a member of our team for payment ahead of your appointment. If you have questions about the amount due, you may contact our team at 1-888-844-0080, option 4. Payments can be made by credit card over the phone; if you have a deductible or copay that is not made prior to your appointment, you will be asked for payment when you arrive for your appointment.
