everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
At Thomasville Medical Center we are committed to providing outstanding healthcare
to all members of our community, regardless of their ability to pay. Below is an
outline of our financial assistance and charity care programs:
- Thomasville Medical Center provides free care to uninsured patients with incomes
of up to 300 percent of the federal poverty level, with 100-percent write-off.
- Uninsured patients with income over 300 percent of the federal poverty level are eligible
for self-pay discount.
- Any patient (even with health insurance) with a balance over $5,000 and income over
300 percent of the federal poverty level is eligible for a catastrophic discount.
- Any patient is eligible for an individualized payment plan based on the amount due
and the patient's financial status, with terms extending up to five years. No interest
is charged, unless appropriate.
